HTC Holiday headed to AT&T with 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch display

mobile

The HTC Holiday may soon join the Infuse 4G as AT&T’s second smartphone with a 4.5-inch display. According to information obtained by 911Sniper, the Holiday will offer a spec sheet that could put the Samsung GALAXY S II to shame. The Holiday will supposedly pack a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor, the large aforementioned 4.5-inch screen with a 960 x 540 qHD resolution, 1GB of RAM, Android 2.3.4, and an 8-megapixel camera. We’re also hoping HTC includes its latest Sense user interface, which we most recently saw on the HTC Sensation. Unfortunately there isn’t any information about a possible launch date just yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see this sport a “4G” tag on it, also.

Awesome! I’m glad they are finally starting to make some phones with a good size screen! 4.5 inches sounds good to me. (I’m strictly talking about phones, here.)

Perfect!  Good that it comes with a backpack since this tablet will not fit in any pockets.

Sure, it will. I checked out the new Samsung Infuse at Wal-Mart yesterday and it is easily pocketable and it has a 4.5″ screen as well.

It would fit in my pocket just fine.  Then again im not into skinny jeans…i wish my Atrix was 4.5 inches.

How about wearing clothes that actually fit? Are you some kind of fashion queen?

I keep my Droid X and my Infuse 4G in the same pocket without any issues. They both fit in there fine without any issues…

      4.5″‘s of pocket sucking fury!

Where does this madness stop? 5 inches? 5.5 inches? 6 inches?

You’d think more people would be concerned with being able to comfortably operate their *phone* with one hand.

If this is LTE, which is what is currently being rumoured, it will finally replace my N1.

No. The Rumored Tegra 3, Ice Cream Sandwich Nexus3 due for the holiday season will replace your N1.

Not if it’s made by LG!

i’d like to see BGR do a poll or even an article comparing the pro’s / con’s of size vs. features. I’ve played with a Droid X and I thought that size was ridicously huge to carry (I have a D2), but dayum…. 4.5 is getting kinda crazy.

Att 4g is not true 4g, at least not until they upgrade their system which nobody knows when it’s going to happen. If I had a choice between gsm 4g technology tmobile would be my choice. Doesn’t matter what att comes out with, they are still against the consumer.

      Technically LTE is GSM

True, but he means HSPA+ vs LTE.

    AT&T? No thanks.

If its LTE then score for everyone. Will be nice when all networks start having LTE offerings, not just one network with 2-3 phones.

I really don’t care what the specs are (as fantastic as they may be), but as long as it’s on shitbird-ass at&t, this device will underperform and disappoint. It’s who they are —– it’s what they do. How embarrassing to slap a “4G” on EVERY device that’s come out and you can’t even roll out HSPA+.

I live in the Vegas Valley…AT&T is not bad at all…in fact its as fast as can be, with my weak BB Bold 9700…Have no fear…they will accommodate that beast just fine for speed, when it arrives….and yes…I will be due for an upgrade…and yes…thats a no brainer to make this phone part of my next toy collection..absolutely stunning, in every aspect HTC…ty…wouldnt be surprised, if that is the so called “Revolver”…crazy specs…
