T-Mobile G2x landing April 15th for $199.99, in stores April 20th

mobile

T-Mobile has confirmed that its G2x smartphone will be available online starting on April 15th, and in stores on April 20th, for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. The LG-built T-Mobile G2x was announced during CTIA 2011 in March and packs Android 2.2 (Froyo), a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset, an 8-megapixel camera and support for T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network. When we had a chance to check out the device first-hand, we said the G2x could easily end up being one of our favorite handsets on T-Mobile, so we’re definitely looking forward to seeing the phone launch.

… with all due respect, what the shit are you doing on BGR if you would balk at paying $200 for a cell phone?

      • Anonymous

Hilarious! You might want to supplement your daily visits to BGR with the “Free Phone” section over at WireFly.

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

You’re awfully touchy. I’m guessing you either missed your “connection,” or you just don’t have any Doritos laying around.

  • Johnny Wishbone

That’s such a scam, if you order it online on the 15th, you won’t get it until the 19th at the earliest. You might as well wait until the 20th and save yourself on shipping

    • Anonymous

To be fair normal shipping is only $4.

  • Bringit

To be dropped to $49 April 25th.

(wait for it…more original and creative homoerotic posts from PAPINYC to follow).

Too bad it will be useless the minute ATT gets its paws on TMO’s network. They will tear it down and use it for LTE.
