Images of successor to Sony Ericsson X10 Mini surface; Android 2.3, 1GHz processor?

Hardware

What do we have here? Chinese forum it168 has posted three images of what a new user is claiming to be the successor to Sony Ericsson’s X10 Mini. Details are sparse (and in Chinese), but from what we can discern the device will be running the Gingerbread operating system (Android 2.3) and will rock a 1GHz processor with an independent GPU — we think we see a front-facing camera although it was not mentioned by the poster. The person with access to said device was kind enough to put it through some benchmarks and the results are, to be honest, pretty impressive. No word on whether the minuscule, slide-out, QWERTY keyboard will be included in the pictured device. Expect to see this one get official at Mobile World Congress in February.

The problem with “pretty impressive” is that its impressive NOW. But because SE management watch glaciers melt during their lunch breaks, when these devices release they’ll be “not impressive”.
You can see that with the X1 and X10
good technology but a little too late, until I switched to android all my phones were SE. But with such a slow production cycle its hard to take them seriously

My dad’s captivate runs the Neocore test @ 55 FPS stock. Not that impressed.
