Asian sources claim iPad inventory is on track for a March launch

Rumor

Apple

Prospective iPad owners can probably stop panicking as Asian component suppliers have come forward to confirm that their supplies are on schedule, and Foxconn should have the resources to manufacture up to 700,000 iPads in March and one million units in April. The suppliers expect that the iPad launch will go smoothly as planned and the rumored delay and shortage put forth by analyst Peter Misek of Canaccord Adams can be filed in the “not likely to happen” category. Anyone’s hopes renewed now that the current intelligence points to a successful and robust iPad launch? As always, Digitimes to the rescue.

Worst part about it is that even if you by one you don’t actually own it. It’s still property of Steve Jobs. Kind of like a credit card to a bank. Just get one, like the iPod Touch and iPhone, and try putting your own programs or apps in it and see how MAD Apple gets. With Microsoft, you bought it, it’s yours. Put what ever you want in it.

and how many iPad/phone/touch users will attempt to put their own apps on? -really…??

There’s a reason Apple is restrictive with its products, so that they work as intended which is what the majority of consumers want, products that work -period.

Who has time to wait for Microsoft to “fine tune” every major release, or wait for Hotfixes? How many times does Windows have to reinvent itself? (Windows 3.1, 95, 98, Me, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 9, 10..)

“All you ifanbois please buy our new iTampon. We need lots of money for friggin lawyers, since Google has said that they will back their partner HTC, who we just sued.”

“I dunno, maybe we stepped in it, but I doubt it, since I, Steve Jobs am a freaking genius, and don’t you forget it!”

Why would anybody buy that useless piece of crap?

  • renee

    No its not

  • You rent it, not own

The fastest way to make money is to license something to people, not sell….

Here comes the iPad, the cloud, selective apps.

You already buy movies on the itunes store that you cannot play on your TV unless you go buy the AppleTV. No burning them to DVD. No installing them on more than one machine at a time, expires in 30 days.

You know, that’s always been my one complaint about the iPhone — the fact that it fits in my pocket.
