Best Buy Mobile Palm Pre giveaway starts today!

When I first logged into the rewards zone, I saw the promotion. I went to the promotion to enter the giveaway, and after pressing submit, an error loaded. I went back to the Rewards zone page and the promotion is no longer there for me.

At least it exists… somewhere…

I just signed up for the PRE contest. I logged into my Reward Zone, clicked special offers and partners, and it is on the upper left in a big shot. As this is my account, you probably will need to log in and do your own, but Here’s the link I used:

It seems to be up now, or at least I got to enter, and got a confirmation page (saying good luck). I am not a silver member, I can’t burn $2.5k at BB.

It’s up now. I just entered. What sucks is that it says they will draw the winners on or around June 15th. Ummmm… I don’t plan on waiting around to see if I won… I want a Pre on June 6th.

What happens if I go out and by the Pre and sign up for a contract… and then I win on June 15th. It says its non transferable, so I can’t even sell the free contract to someone else.

Probability of winning aside, you might get lucky with the cancellation ‘grace period,’ which last I heard was like 14 days or so for most carriers, maybe within the first month if you’re lucky. Definitely something to ask the service rep when you buy.

You other posters are obviously pretty stupid. As soon as you log into myrewardzone.com its posted on the damn front page. Its practically begging you to enter the contest. BTW I just registered and hopefully you idiots never figure it out and I win!

I’ll eat crow … I called it fake after I tried to log in yesterday and didn’t see anything … then called Best Buy rewards thinking they would validate the promo, but state it wasn’t available for signup yet. The CSR found this thread on BGR while I was on hold and said there were many calls regarding this issue, and that Best Buy had no such offer.

I logged in to my rewardzone account today and signed up for it.

Looks like Best Buy was not quite ready to launch the promo on schedule.

I’m not waiting until June 14 to find out if I win. I’ll be at Sprint this friday buying the Pre for me and my wife!!!!

I checked it out this morning, I’d rather just buy one. If I can’t snag one Saturday morning I still have a few hours to enter so then I’ll try for the free one. I would rather just buy it than deal with setting up a new account, paying any deposits, etc…then transferring at the end of the 6 months to my existing account all the while juggling 2 phone numbers.

I just signed into my rewardzone account and it shows the entry as it appears above. I submitted my e-mail address. It told me to return later. Folks are not liking this at all. What could have happened. (DOES NOT LOOK GOOD IN MY BOOK!!!)Sprint needs to consult with Bestbuy and redo this giveaway. I am down right mad!!!!

I know BGR is just reporting about this giveaway – but you guys have more resources than the general public. Why haven’t you guys looked into this and gotten an answer for all the disgruntled posters??? We sure would like to know what is goin on.
