Some AT&T stores to sell Blackberry Bold tomorrow

We just got word that there are a few AT&T stores out there that have the Blackberry Bold in stock, and they might be selling them as soon as tomorrow! While it’s only two days before the official release date, we know that for some of you, it couldn’t be soon enough. One of our faithful readers chimed in letting us know they were able to play around with a Bold in store. At that location, they said they’d be selling them tomorrow, November 2nd. So, after calling around and seeing whether this was an isolated case, we’ve come to learn that there are some stores that are getting ready to dish out these BlackBerrys before the official release. Before you go waiting at AT&T’s doors before they open up, be sure to call your local store first to make sure they will be selling it. Remember, this is all at the manager’s discretion and not all stores will be offering them up. If your store isn’t selling until the 4th, check out our review of the Bold from this summer to get your appetite going and to temporarily satisfy your Bold cravings.

    Called all possible AT&T retailers in the Manchester, NH area — Most have Bolds, but are under strict instructions to not sell it until tomorrow — even BestBuy said this. Sales associates are worried they will get fined if they sell the device today…WOW!

    @ECP: I live in the Willowbrook area too and I called every at&t I could find. Most of them didn’t pick up. I was only able to get through to about 4 or 5 places. I guess I’ll just go to the one by Conn’s on 1960 tomorrow

    thanks all for the posts. i am a biz user, and dialed 611 to see if i can order today. answer was yes, and upgrade for $149?? didnt seem right but have to jump on it even tho it gets shipped in “2-3 biz days.” what are u guys paying for an upgrade in-store?

    In HB they have 12, they just got them in. They try and give a little bit of the run around. But the have them, but won’t have a display up until mid week. So here is your chance $399 – $299 after rebate. I got to mess around with it looks and feels great. But I’ve waited this long so might as well wait til the 16th to check the Storm out.

    Got mine at the pasadena Rosemead location. dont bother calling….cause they will deny selling any. They had about 5-10 left. some were on reserve for friends by people who already purchased them.

    Oh man just finished calling all stores within a 10 mile radius of 90036, Los Angeles. Can’t anyone hook me up with a (paid) birthday present? Yes, today is my birthday. I also went in to the store on Beverly Blvd off of La Cienega and the guy there told me that they have not received the shipment yet. I gave him my number and asked him to call me in case the shipment comes in today, but we’ll see what happens. It’s 2:10 LA time @ time of posting…

    operator made a mistake, no bold available for upgrade/purchase from business care. got transfered to premier support center, selected the same menu options 4 times. then got looped back into business care, where now they claim they have no pricing but “maybe premier does.” will take my chances in the store tomorrow. more excellent work from at&t. well done, smooth all the way to market with the bold

    @deeeeeeee: yea, well, it’s not “coming out” because it IS OUT! haha…What a gorgeous device. This is the best PDA/cellphone device that I have ever owned in my 12 years with AT&T, and I’ve had TONS.
