Google is expected to launch two new Nexus devices that will offer users a better experience than any other Nexus smartphone to date. Sure, they’re supposed to be better than last year’s smartphones because they’ll feature better hardware and run a brand new operating system out of the box.
But unlike previous Nexus handsets, the HTC-made Marlin and Sailfish are expected to be faster than same year Android flagships. Moreover, both devices are tipped to feature the same internal configuration, meaning that the smaller phone won’t be inferior when it comes to overall performance.
A concept video recreated using existing rumors and leaks shows us what we can expect from the Marlin and Sailfish’s design.

The designers at Techconfigurations, who come up with similar videos for other unreleased mobile products, took Android Police’s Nexus render and created a 3D version of it. One detail the YouTube channel got wrong concerns the headphone jack, as both devices are expected to have a 3.5mm port for standard headphones.
Everything else is in line with the previous reports. We’re looking at what appears to be a slim, metal design that features an annoying detail: a rather large piece of glass on the back of the handset, that’s unlike anything we’ve seen in a phone to date. Well, not counting really old handsets like this one.
