Microsoft’s Windows 10 update is coming to both desktop and mobile devices later this year, with the former’s features having been thoroughly demoed so far. However, Microsoft is yet to show off Windows 10 for smartphones, even though the company has already started talking about the Windows 10 update for mobile devices, offering previews at MWC and additional hints about its mobile plans at the recently concluded WinHEC event in China. But Microsoft is yet to share more information about one of the most important features hitting Windows phones later this year.

The new browser that’s going to be included in all Windows 10 releases – Project Spartan – has only been demoed on PCs, with Microsoft yet to reveal the mobile version of Spartan. Luckily for interested Windows buyers, Windows Mania has gotten its hands on a working version of Spartan for mobile, sharing with the world some of the first screenshots of it.

As Windows Central points out, the leaked Spartan images indicate that the address bar has moved to the top of the screen, and a Hub section is now present, likely to store articles for offline reading. Furthermore, the “hamburger” menu has apparently been replaced with ellipses.

Some of these first screenshots showing Spartan mobile for Windows 10 follow below, with more available at the source link.
