TeleNav is making a push to become the go-to mobile GPS application for mapping and navigation against stiff competition from Google (GOOG) and Nokia (NOK). On Tuesday TeleNav announced that it had added voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation to its Scout iPhone app along with a host of other new features including a revamped dashboard that automatically delivers “real-time ETA’s” to the user’s work and home, real-time traffic information and speech recognition technology capable of responding to voice commands. The app is currently free to download from the Apple (AAPL) App Store.
