Not content with dominating movie theaters for the next decade, Marvel is invading the living room as well. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premiered last year on ABC to impressive numbers, bringing the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe to television screens across America. As the second season of S.H.I.E.L.D. ramps up, Marvel is already hyping up its second network show, Agent Carter, with its first sneak peek.

Agent Carter was a prominent figure in Captain America: The First Avenger, serving as both an officer with the Strategic Scientific Reserve and as Steve Rogers’ love interest. She made a cameo appearance on the season premiere of S.H.I.E.L.D. earlier this year, but actress Hayley Atwell will finally have her shot at a staring role as the character when Agent Carter debuts in January 2015.
On Tuesday, Marvel published the first full clip from the show, giving audiences a brief glimpse at Howard Stark (Iron Man’s dad) and the original Jarvis (Stark’s butler). The clip was originally shown at New York Comic-Con last month, but it made its way online after Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop! aired on ABC.
Hayley Atwell revealed earlier this year that Agent Carter would run for eight episodes between the midseason finale and premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next year.
