Following the first Galaxy S5 and new Gear wearable ads that were released during the Oscars, Samsung on Tuesday published a couple of longer videos on YouTube that show the main specs and features of the Galaxy S5, Gear 2 smartwatches and Gear Fit fitness band.
Both videos are over three minutes long, each presenting the most important highlights of Samsung’s new products. In the Galaxy S5 clip, Samsung says that “innovation is not just about technology. It’s about how it improves every day life.”
The company demos some of the phone’s main features, while listing the main specs of the handset. Samsung focuses on the phone’s design including color choices, its screen, camera features, data transfer speeds, fitness features (including fitness apps and heart rate sensor,) and safety/security features (including water and dust resistance, battery saver and fingerprint scanner).
In the video detailing the new Gear 2 and Gear Fit wearables, Samsung focuses on the design of the new devices, as well as the on-board fitness features reminding users that each device comes with its own heart rate monitor, although the company also reveals other smart features including notifications and related interactions.
