We knew it was only a matter of time before the new BlackBerry Pearl 2 arrived at your local AT&T or T-Mobile store. That said, it’s nice to see some concrete evidence of the handset’s impending arrival. The FCC has, in typical fashion, revealed some details about RIMs new Suretype device. We already exclusively reported on most of these, but still, the handset will sport a 3.5mm headset jack, A2DP stereo Bluetooth support, GPS and Wi-Fi, external microSD slot, and much more. Sounds appealing, right? The phone apparently comes bundled with a UMA client, leading us to believe that it’s slated for a T-Mobile launch that will bundle it with their HotSpot@Home service. As is usually the case with FCC info there’s no details on launch date, but we’re confident that something will surface sooner rather than later.
