If you live in the Asia/Pacific region and order an iPhone 5 from Apple (AAPL), there’s a good chance now that you’ll get it within a week. Per 9to5Mac, Apple has cut iPhone 5 ship times in Australia, New Zealand and some Asian countries to just two to four days, marking the fastest ship times yet for the company’s popular smartphone. The reduced shipping times for the iPhone 5 coincide with other reports that the smartphone’s supply is catching up with demand, such as Citi’s survey of Apple stores last week that found increased availability of the device.
