After an unfortunate leak on Sunday spoiled the surprise, Microsoft officially unveiled the Xbox One Slim on Monday at its E3 2016 press briefing in Los Angeles, California. The first of two reported hardware revisions for the home console, the Xbox One S will be available this August for the price of $299.

As the leak revealed, the new Xbox One will be 40% smaller than the original, with a 2TB hard drive as well as 4K Ultra HD video and High Dynamic Range support. An updated controller and a vertical stand will also come in the box. The new controller has a textured grip and increased range over the original.
Perhaps the most exciting news of all is that the power supply is actually built in to the Xbox One S, which means no more bulky black box sitting beneath your television. No, it’s not quite as flashy as 4K support, but it’s a welcome change.
