Pokemon Go might not be anywhere near as popular as it was shortly after it launched, but you wouldn’t know it from all the buzz surrounding the game this week. Niantic finally released Pokemon Gen 2 this week, offering players a much-needed update that includes a number of new characters. That’s right, Pokemon Go fans, there are now a whole bunch of new Pokemon to catch in your favorite app. There are also some other new features beyond the additional characters in the game though, and the most eagerly anticipated among them is the return of the nearby tracker that shows you when there are Pokemon around you waiting to be caught. The only problem is that Niantic’s new Pokemon tracker is, well, pretty awful.
