Harry Potter fans will be thrilled to hear that J.K. Rowling’s world of wizardry and wonder is returning to the big screen. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see Harry, Ron, Hermione, or that evil guy we’re probably still not supposed to speak of. But the new Harry Potter spin-off movie is called Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and the first official trailer was just released.

If Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sounds familiar, that’s because the film is inspired by a Hogwarts textbook by the same name. And, as you might have guessed, this one is all about fantastic beasts. And magic. But not Harry Potter.

The action takes place in 1926 in Manhattan, with Newt Scamander, a zoologist and wizard, having to retrieve some of the magical creatures that make their way into the city. From the first trailer we learn that they apparently escape from his suitcase, so it’s only expected that he should be the one to run and fetch them. Sadly, we don’t get to see any of these beasts in the first trailer. We’ll probably see more of this fabulous new Harry Potter world in the coming year, but the movie itself won’t premiere until November 18th, 2016.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is packed full of stars including Ezra Miller, Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell, Ron Perlman, Jon Voight, Samantha Morton, and others.
