The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus won’t begin shipping until the end of the week, but as always, a few lucky customers appear to have gotten their hands on the new phones early. 9to5Mac managed to snag a few leaked photos of both the black and jet black models of the iPhone 7 being unboxed from an Asian social media site on Monday.
DON’T MISS: How to get the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus you want on launch day even without a preorder
The images seem to show off a jet black iPhone 7 (which sold out about as quickly as the rose gold iPhone 6s did last year), and a regular black iPhone 7 Plus, complete with the camera that Apple says is the best ever in a smartphone.
If the photos are real, customers who chose the jet black iPhone can expect completely black packaging for their phone, while matte black buyers will get a standard white box, similar to the one that holds the silver, gold and rose gold iPhones. 9to5Mac notes that Apple’s website shows the standard black model alongside a white box, so chances are good that this leak is legitimate.
There are only a few photos here, so don’t expect to learn anything new. This is really just about being jealous that someone else got an iPhone 7 before you did, which, judging by the lines that form every year, is pretty important to some people. Check out a few of the photos below and head to 9to5Mac for the rest:
