Pizza waffles: The mouth-watering food hack that everyone needs to try

Do you own a waffle iron? Do you enjoy making your own pizza? Then you’re going to have to try making pizza waffles at least once. YouTube channel Food Steez this week posted a quick video that gives you the lowdown on how to make these delicious concoctions and the good news is that it’s an incredibly straightforward process that looks even easier than making your own pizza on a pizza stone. Let’s go through some highlights.

First, you don’t need to make waffle batter for this particular recipe — you can just buy some pizza dough from your local grocery store or bakery and place it inside the waffle iron after you’ve sufficiently flattened it out. The next step is predictable: add some sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni on top of the pizza dough. Then you take another piece of pizza dough and place it on top of the toppings, lower the top half of the waffle iron down, and grill until the dough turns a golden brown color.
