Remember when Apple Music was going to come along and kill Spotify? Well Apple Music has been around for a while now and it’s a pretty decent service, but Spotify is alive and well. In fact, it’s thriving and the Spotify app is still one of the highest grossing apps in the iOS App Store.

You use Spotify. You love Spotify. But are you getting the most out of the service that you possibly can? Probably not, but don’t worry because we found a great collection of tips that will push your Spotify experience to the next level.

We’ve shared plenty of tips and tricks with Spotify users over the years, but today we came across a great compilation on Lifehacker. Some of the tricks covered by the site have appeared here on BGR before, but some are new ones that could open your eyes to great functionality you’ve been missing.

Did you know that you can archive Spotify’s “Discover Weekly” playlists? These lists pop up each week and sometimes you can’t work your way through them all. Instead of missing out, there’s an IFTTT recipe that will automatically convert each new Discover Weekly entry into a separate playlist so you can check it out whenever you want.

You can also add songs to your Spotify account instantly without even having to open the app. Did you just use Shazam on your iPhone or Android handset to identify a song? If you connect your Spotify account in the Shazam app, you can queue that new song up right away with just a few taps.

There’s an easy way to make specific listening sessions private so none of your friends know you just played Let It Go 43 times in a row, and you can also recover a deleted playlist if you ever have a change of heart.
