This has been an incredibly busy month for game releases, but Microsoft isn’t planning on letting its foot off the gas in April either. On Thursday, Microsoft announced the latest slate of Games with Gold, but in April, Xbox owners are getting double the free games that they normally do. That means two free games on Xbox One and four games on Xbox 360.
DON’T MISS: Did GTA 5 just receive a massive graphics downgrade?
Xbox One owners with active Xbox Live Gold subscriptions will be able to download both Child of Light and Pool Nation FX for free all month in April. These games have absolutely nothing in common, but if you’re looking for a free billiards game with “spot-on physics” and a gorgeous, thoughtful RPG, April is your lucky month.
From April 1st – 15th, Gears of War: Judgment and Terraria will be free on Xbox 360. Judgment is the latest game in the Gears of War series and Terraria is basically 2D Minecraft.
From April 16th – 31st, Xbox 360 owners will be able to pick up Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel at no cost. Black Flag is widely regarded as one of the best Assassin’s Creed games of the last generation and The Devil’s Cartel is a third-person shooter. That’s really all I know about it.
No new games this month, but if you own both Xbox consoles, you have a whole lot of free gaming to look forward to.
