Kevin Smith talked to four of the stars of The Walking Dead at Comic-Con last week, including Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn) and Jeffery Dean Morgan (Negan)… and he actually managed to find out who Negan didn’t kill. Beware, some major spoilers may follow below.

Season 6 ended with a massively dramatic cliffhanger. Negan chose a person from Rick’s crew to kill as punishment, but AMC never showed who that person is. In the comics, Glenn dies. But AMC already trolled us with a would-be Glenn death early in season 6, so doing it would certainly be a curious move at best. Recent reports said that Glenn’s wife is the one who will end up having died at Negan’s hand, but that’s yet to be confirmed.

During the interview, Smith asks them who dies, and Morgan lets it slip that nobody sitting there is killed. It’s certainly not a surprise to hear that Rick is sticking around. After all, Negan wants to show him who the new boss is. But Morgan also indicates that Glenn and Daryl will survive the dramatic meeting with Negan.

When asked how long the show will continue running, Lincoln said that both the TV series and the comic that’s still running might come to a close at the same time.

Check out IMDb’s video interview with these four The Walking Dead stars, which is embedded below. Meanwhile, the first trailer for Season 7 is available at this link, and The Walking Dead returns for its seventh season in October.
