The seventh season of The Walking Dead returns this fall, with new episodes set to premiere in October on AMC. That means we’ve still got a painfully long wait before we finally find out who died at the hand of Negan in the final scene of season 6. But at least AMC started has begun to air trailers for season 7, with a teaser debuting at the San Diego’s Comic-Con 2016 followed by the the first official trailer for The Walking Dead season 7, which was just released.

DON’T MISS: Working Galaxy Note 7 captured on video for the first time ever

The 32-second tear clip, posted on YouTube in several places already, doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t know. That terribly annoying cliffhanger from season 6 is still there, and we don’t get any clues as to who Negan’s victim might have been.

The video features Negan and his trusty bat Lucille taking his time choosing his victim. The people of Alexandria are all on their knees, lined up for the slaughter, all fully knowing that Negan will only kill a person. That’s pretty much all there is to see in this teaser trailer, but hopefully more details will be revealed in upcoming footage – check it out below.

Meanwhile, the first official trailer for The Walking Dead Season 7 was finally just released, and it gives us quite a taste of things to come in the hotly anticipated seventh season of AMC’s smash hit show.

Do yourself a favor and check out the full trailer, which is embedded below. The new season kicks off on Sunday, October 23rd, and it’ll break after eight episodes before resuming for the second half of the season in February 2017.
