The iPhone 6 Plus already is a best-selling device for Apple and the 5.5-inch phablet is even more popular in certain markets than expected. It seems that quite a few odd people have purchase the device, though, because some of them have found very unusual ways to use the smartphone. Redmond Pie points out one such case from China, where a user managed to install a somewhat working copy of Windows 98 on the iPhone 6 Plus.

FROM EARLIER: This is what Windows 95 looks like running on Android Wear

Even though it looks like the iPhone 6 Plus can easily boot up an old desktop operating system such as Windows 98, it doesn’t mean the OS will run flawlessly on the handset, as you can see from the many error messages that appear on the screen (images below). In fact, anyone who remembers what installing such old copies of Windows on a computer actually means will likely steer away from doing something like this for reasons that are all too obvious.

On the other hand, this isn’t the first time an old version of Windows has been installed on modern gadgets, with one user having ported Windows 95 to an Android Wear device not too long ago.
