Apple didn’t waste much time between 1.0.1 and 1.0.2, now did they? Before you get too excited, we should note that this software update claims to improve on little more than “Bug fixes”, but progress is progress, right? While the company has yet to implement a lot of the added features that users have been screaming for, including iChat, MMS support, and *cough* native 3rd Party application support, these incremental bug fixes are important and necessary steps along the road towards a more stable and user friendly device. The update is currently available via Software Update in iTunes. Keep in mind that you’ll need to do a full backup before you install, and that any “3rd Party” alterations such as Jailbreak and/or iFuntastic will be wiped, but don’t let that stand in your way! Hit the software update….now! Let us know if you come across anything significant!
