Nokia to unveil Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 Windows Phones tomorrow, report claims

mobile

Nokia will announce the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 during its Nokia World event in London on Wednesday, WinRumors reported on Tuesday. The Lumia 800 was originally leaked as the “SeaRay” and earlier rumors suggested the phone will pack an 8-megapixel camera and a 3.7-inch display. The Lumia 710 first appeared as the “Sabre” and it allegedly offers a 3.5-inch display, a 1.4GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM. These two Windows Phone 7.5 devices could hit the market as soon as November, in-line with Nokia’s promise to launch a Windows Phone product this year. Thankfully we have less than 24 hours until Nokia CEO Stephen Elop takes the stage and clears up all of the fog. Hit the break for two additional images.

The N800 looks amazing. Just as the N9 does. The N710, eh.

      wp7 have very poor specifications.

I take an Iphone with Dual Core or an Androidwith Dual Core

I have a Focus and it works just fine without a Quad Core Dragon 2000 processor with 5G of RAM.

Good software on a cell phone doesn’t need a dual core. iOS 5 runs fine on iPhone 4 single core. Android is garbage that needs two cores to get the performance iOS and Windows Phone 7.5 gets on a single core.

You post the same troll-shit comments on every blog I go to.  Surely you must have something better to do.

Every web site you visit, you say the same dang thing!  If you don’t like Microsoft products go elsewhere! Good for you!  Take the iPhone!  Take your dual core! Take your Android!!! Since you’re so enthralled with those items go visit their web sites and the those articles that’s about them!  Then you’ll be in hog heaven and you need to comment on MS products!  Ok you’re a hater and we all know it – now go away!

I agree with you on the slab design, but those aren’t Nokia N series phones though(N800 is 4 years old and runs Maemo). If they do that with a Windows phone it would be something with a bit of swagger.

For a company betting the future on Windows Phone as their new platform, they’re moving REALLY slow…

I heard Q4 for Europe, but no Nokia/Windows devices stateside until 2012. :-(

    • Jimbo

Let me translate Nokia speak for you: Q4 really means delayed until early next year, and no stateside until 2012 likely means a mid year or Summer, or maybe later, release.

      • Drew

Exactly!! Which further exacerbates my loathing for Stephen Elop and the decision not to release the N9 in the U.S. Asked if they will ship N9 to the UK,  their VP of Marketing said, ”We have elected to ship the N9 to those markets we believe offer the most suitable conditions required for a successful launch.” Utter fcuking nonsense…!!

Anything less than a 10 inch screen is instant fail. In addition, the standard is quad processors with 32gb of ram. So again, fail.
