Motorola XOOM 2, Slimline smartphone, Tracey XL watch phone and more leaked

mobile

Motorola inadvertently went live with an upcoming website redesign on Tuesday evening, revealing six unannounced devices set to be released in the near future, reports claim. Before Motorola was able to pull the test site, cell phone blog Pocketnow.com was able to procure some telling screen grabs. Devices pictured include Motorola’s upcoming second-generation Android tablet, the XOOM 2, a watch phone codenamed “Tracey XL” after fictitious crime-fighting gadget hound Dick Tracey, and four smartphones: the ultra-thin Motorola “Slimline” and Motorola “Zaha,” the upcoming 4G LTE-enabled Motorola “Targa” and the Motorola “Pearl.” No further information about the devices was made available by the screenshots. Hit the break for more images of these unannounced Motorola devices.

    “inadvertently”

Hmmm. Yeah, right. This is the new marketing.

      Free press is good press.

I think they call this “crowd sourcing”.

Nice looking, design wise. Will see. Have lost my interest in the latest and greatest. Will let others be to earlier adopters this time around.

Sprint and Motorola have a joint announcement coming on June 9th. Related?

Hopefully the Xoom 2 is priced better this time around. I can’t imagine Motorola failing twice with the lineup.

That first image looks alot like the design of Sprint EVO commercials with the yellow ribbon.  Think any of these devices will be unveiled at the upcoming Moto/Sprint event?

Shit I wish… too soon for a Xoom 2 I think we can all agree on that…. but he phones may be coming

This is such a big leap from where they are now and a Zoom 2 already? Something is fishy or a long time off.

Lmao, everyone and their mama knows that this was no accident. Desperate move for media attention.

Wow, if a Xoom 2 is announced and released anytime before the holidays, and is subsequently more powerful and either the same price or cheaper than the originals launch price, that’s gonna be a bit of a faceslap to the early adopters.

Maybe they can just give the early adopters a gift certificate or something.

      Worked for Apple, right?

As soon as you buy something, it’s obsolete. Progress shouldn’t be halted because it gives you buyer’s remorse and isn’t “fair”.

Though they haven’t really finished the Xoom 4G LTE yet, I will definitely be first in line for the XOOM 2 4G LTE+!!!!!!

Thanks Zach, for a wonderful Wednesday morning surprise (sans any iGarbage in the background).
This was not a premeditated P.R. stunt by Motorola, this was a massive blunder by their website administrator who coded the new content to go live prematurely (or, meant to test it on a dummy off-line site); someone will be fired.
PocketNow has already removed the screenshots (BGR: next??).

If you think this was accidental, you’re naive.

  • Hhhh

Trust and believe there will be many “inadvertent” leaks this week with WWDC around the corner. And that Slimline looks gorgeous! Reminds me of the Motorola Q days

    Tracey XL, here I come!!

  • spacefly

Like the look of that Zaha, could almost be persuaded to give up keyboard phones.

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, MadCent. com

It has been like two months since the Xoom was released so clearly it’s time for the next one.

    Idiots.

  • Ckarches

Of course there is a Xoom 2, I just got my Xoom via U.P.S. today.  Thanks Motorola, seems you have the same bad habits that Apple has.

jesus, if u exist, u will end this idiot company known as motorola. they shouldve died with the original razr. everything they make is garbage. the cliq was a major disappointment and dont even get me started on the first xoom. i cant wait for motorlas end to come. the only semi decent thing they ever built was the droid phones and i am pretty sure they only did the hardware. motoblur flat out SUX. they should not do software at all. please die soon, moto.
