Verizon: Engineers working to resolve 4G LTE outage

mobile

On Wednesday morning our inbox was flooded with complaints from readers stating that Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network was down — claims we were able to confirm with our Samsung Charge in New York City. Verizon Wireless has acknowledged the problem and is keeping its customers up-to-date via Twitter. “We’re aware of an issue with the 4G LTE connections and our network engineers are working to resolve quickly,” Verizon’s official account tweeted today. It followed up three hours later with “Investigating 4G LTE network issue; ThunderBolts making voice calls, may get slower 1xRTT data.” Verizon says it will keep its customers updated as its works to resolve the problem.

Because the iPhone was trying to collect everyone’s location. And it designed by chimps.

half of the pro-blackberry people here are RIM EMPLOYEES, they have an internal marketing team that post on bgr, engadget and youtube reviews.

you want real feedback, have a look at crackberry forums and notice the amount of negative reviews.

lol rim, we won’t see any updates maybe a white version and then playbook 2 which might actually be more than a glorified web browser (ring a bell, storm, storm 2, torch and now torch 2)

    gg rim.

The Fastest Most Advanced 4G Network In America…When it works. Nice job guys…you keep telling yourselves it’s the best network around.

    1. Dial ##778# hit send
    2. select edit and the password is 000000 (six zeros)
    3. select modem settings
    4. change rev. A to enable
    5. menu then hit commit changes
    6. phone will reboot

You will have 3g data, and voice but will not have 4g or data/voice together. In theory when 4g is fixed you’ll see it goto to lte, then you can re able the settings.

    • Whoru

Why wouldn’t it default automatically to 3G? Pretty ghetto to me.

      • fillyo

Because there are two different 3g networks, ours allows us to have simultaneous voice and data, this puts you on the normal 3g network.

    • broken_monkey

      1. Welcome to your half@$$Ed lte network
      2. Your data plans suck
      3. Metro PCS is more reliable? (sheesh)
      4.Try again
5.Follow our twitter updates oh sorry, We forgot.
6.Please pay your bill on time or we will cut your services like a newborns foreskin.

You will have 4g data/voice problems and like it. In theory WE OWN THE AIR, and YOU.

    • Diengts

Wow y’all have to do all that to reboot your phone lol wow

  • Champess

Nothing is perfect…verizon has always been good to me……wheres the loyalty…

  • MobileRuss

According the VZW support personnel, the inability to connect to their network affects anyone with a 4G device … even when attempting to connect to a 3G tower.

LTE back and running on my tbolt in phoenix

  • Andyaskeroso88

Relax nothing is perfect…. Have patience for Verizon…. They’ll fix it…. I hope.

L..O…L at the most reliable network. Why does Verizon always have outages? This is why you will not see a iPhone 4g this year. The technology while great is way way too new and there’s way to many bugs and a lot of fixin to be done.

  • Parker Elliott 93

    lte is back in phoenix
