iPad 2 coming to RadioShack starting tomorrow

BGR has confirmed an earlier report claiming that RadioShack will begin carrying the Apple iPad 2 tomorrow in retail locations across the country. According to a company spokesperson, hundreds of RadioShack stores across the country will begin selling Apple’s iPad 2 tablet starting tomorrow. “We are thrilled that iPad 2 will be available at 500 RadioShack locations across the country starting tomorrow, March 29,” the RadioShack spokesperson told BGR in an email. “To find the store nearest you, visit http://www.radioshack.com.” There is currently no word on how many units each store might receive, but the deal is a good indication that iPad 2 inventory is being replenished following strong demand and sellouts across the U.S. and abroad.

    OMG, how much longer are people going to believe this crap???? The iPad 2 is NOT selling! If anything, XOOM’s are selling 100 to 1 iPad 2. I was at a Verizon store and the rep told me that he personally had sold upwards of 10,000 XOOM’s, yeah, you read right 10,000!

      That Rep lied. Haha. Ipad 2 will outsell xoom anyday of the week. Also, do your math…. zoom came out Feb 24th. Haha. 10,000…. what a joke.

      hmm 10,000 XOOMs? in about a week eh? so thats 1400 everyday? and if he wokred 10 hrs a day thats 140 every hour? so this guy was selling a XOOM tablet every 30 seconds? ok got it thanks.

    iPad 2 is a failure, they have to sell them at RS and Costco/Sam’s club to dump inventory.

    Sweet, they can’t stock all of the other locations that already sell them so they’re going to add more to the list? Heck, they probably hoarded some of the few they do have to sell out of Radio Shack locations.

      Called my local radio shack and the rep said they’re definitely getting iPad 2s he just doesnt know what models they will be getting. They open at 9 tomorrow so I’m planning to scope out the scene at around 530. Btw I live in nyc so that might be a reason my local rs will get them even though others will not
