T-Mobile to release Dell Streak 7 on February 2nd?

Tablets

Blog TmoNews has acquired intel that indicates America’s fourth largest wireless carrier, T-Mobile, will be launching the Dell Streak 7 Android tablet on February 2nd, Groundhog Day. The information comes courtesy of a leaked materials-placement guide presumably sent to a retail location. The Streak 7 will be T-Mobile’s first HSPA+ tablet offering and is slated to ship running the Android 2.2 operating system. Hopefully, Dell will be more proactive in pushing out updates to this Streak offering. Any Magenta lovers out there waiting for the Streak 7?

stupid dell, you will never get it… no one wants your damn stage bullshit. Just make it stock honeycomb and its a win-win. you save money and people are happy and actually buy your product.

I actually am pretty interested but I want a device that gets updated for a reasonable period of time after purchase. I am not yet convinced that Dell will do this.

Should be decent but I don’t want it since I’m going to hold off until the G-Slate comes out.

But I believe this is the first 4G tablet to be launched here in the US so…..

Dell so far doesn’t have a great track record of OS updates but I’ll reserve judgement in a few months after release. It would serve them well to do so in order to compete with everything else to be released shortly.
