Alright, iPhone developers. Kick everyone out of the room, lock your door and grab a chilled can of Red Bull because Apple has just released iPhone OS 4.0 beta and the accompanying SDK. We haven’t had a chance to play around with it yet so we’re not sure what surprises await us, but we’ll be back if we find anything of interest.

    for everyone who says they release one item and thier phones can do the same are crazy so your phone can start your car unlock your doors. so your phone can track mileage play live tv shut your lights off and yes thier is a difference between 3g and 3gs it’s hardware and it makes a difference when your using Internet or gps just to name a few don’t comment unless you used an iPhone.

    That’s not even a fair assessment. I don’t care for windows mobile or Blackberry but, I respect their users because that’s what they desire. I haven’t owned a feature phone since about 9 months before Cingular bought out Att but, I wouldn’t bash their users. I still see people using flip phones. Everyone has their own likes and needs.

    My wife has a Blackberry. I’d lobe for her to get the iPhone but, she hates anything without a keyboard. To each their own. Soon Android will be the same way. People will realize their getting ripped off when they’re sold a new handset with a firmware version that’s almost 2 years old , instead of the most recent release.

    Man these Android guys are really delusional. It’s not even worth arguing with them. First of all none of these so called iPhone killers have the team, marketing, and following that Apple has. Just putting a phone together strictly off of what the iPhone doesn’t do is not working. They are taking the time and putting together an all around better device than every one of these competitors. To even compare it to the Razr just shows how many morons are out there. Its actually sad to read some of these posts. Just get the phone you like and be happy with that. Android and HTC are making very desirable phones I will admit that. But not one of them have swayed me from my iPhone. Is the process slow? Yes but it’s worth it. Just reading the posts every other month with another HTC device coming out all the time shows me that they are strictly out for your money. Soon as they start talking about another Android device your ready to buy another one so obviously your not satisfied with the Android device you already have. lol. Come June no matter what phone comes out it will not take the stage from the iPhone. The only phone that will come out this summer that will outshine the 3GS is the next iPhone. When have you seen an iPhone being sold 2 for 1? Dont worry I’ll wait for your answer. Then real question is why is a phone that lack features continuously smash everything else? They would like to say the Kool Aid but it’s because it’s a solid easy to use device that just works.

      You want to know why the iphone sells. You kinda mentioned it, its like the koolaid. I cant tell you how many forty to sixty year old men i see with an iphone that dont even know how to use it and arent even aware of things like android. And on switching phones alot, thats because android phones actually get better and iphone just kinda stays the same. Iphone 3g to 3gs? hardly a difference or improvement, just apple trying to rip off a lot of stupid customers like you and every other religious follower of apple.

      Yeah, google isnt a giant company that has control of a ton of money and google ads all over the internet. And nobody chooses them as their search engine of choice so obviously nobody follows them. idiot.

    EVO? Incredible? How are these iPhone killers and not even be out? I thought the Nexus was the iPhone killer? No wait, the Droid? Oh was it the Pre?

    If you don’t like the iPhone, great. Don’t buy it! Fandroids are like Windowz fan boys; if you like anything other than what you like, then they’re sheep or blind.

    I love the ignorant comments of evo being the ultimate phone and Steve jobs being scared lmao, first of all it will never sell anywhere close to any iPhone number, no android prolly will any time soon, second it’s on sprint whose doing horrible lmao maybe if it was on verizons it would sell better but unfortunately I can’t imagine the boatloads of people just dying to port there number over to shitty sprint , did u forget the instinct and the palm pre all claimed to be iPhone killers lmao

    How does one install the software? Does the phone have to be jailbroken? I am still downloading the files from the links here but I have no idea what to do with these. Sorry for being dumb haha!
