“It’s Nokia-chromatic.” Seriously, does anyone care about Nokia anymore?

  • DRAZY

Just when you think Nokia has learned their lesson about pushing out ugly handsets they hit us again with garbage. Too funny.

Nokia…..please take note of what nearly killed Motorola. Consumers don’t want your expensively bland phones anymore. You’ve got something in the N900 and Maemo 5….work on improving your company from there.

I think they are launched to compete with samsung’s corby

    • Gambhir

Yes, you are absolutely correct……. :p

These are chick phones. 7230 might be successful if it comes to T-mobile and ATT. That 6700 is probably the last keypad S60 device. I’ll probly get it for that reason and have it as a collection item. I stil keep Nokia’s first S60 phone – 7650 and am waiting for the last S60 device…

  • haha

Nokia suks but they are still not effected by people not liking their products…too much market share lol…..i wouldn be surprised if NOKIA is jus puttin out crap and secretely building an iPhone II ( innovation wise)…if they think its the N900 they should think again

The Nokia 6700 slide and Nokia 7230 will certainly turn heads , thanks to the snazzy colours and the design.

    Concentrate on making an iphonekiller.
Nokia may still claim the largest global market share, but Apple has overtaken it as the world’s most profitable handset vendor in the third quarter of 2009, according to Strategy Analytics. The one-handset wonder pushed Nokia into the no. 2 slot, as Nokia’s margins were hit hard by both the economic downturn and a stagnant presence in the U.S.

Nokia needs to make some nicer mid to high range phones. They haven’t gotten too used to pumping out the low end cheap ones, which do have a place in the cell phone market, but are not going to impress the phone addicts in Canada and the US. I wonder who in Canada might pick these up? Probably not Telus. They haven’t carried much Nokia for a while. Maybe Rogers and Fido for the cheaper one?

Looks like Samsung design. Why doesnot nokia learn to design smooth n plain edged phones.

  • pras

    I’m eagerly awaiting both launches…

    S40 is NOT Symbian based.

Nokia 6700 Slide lacks GPS and Wi-Fi, but got a useless Arm 11 600 Mhz processor. Why? For marketing maybe. We made a preview here, http://www.itsagadget.com/2010/08/the-nokia-6700-slide-%E2%80%93-seems-confused.html
