Sprint subscribers: Wanna make an easy $100? Have a friend sign up

News

With the direction the world economy is headed, we’ll all be lucky if the only thing we have to resort to selling to get by is our blood at the local clinic. Sprint subscribers, however, might be able to bypass all of this nasty business from now until the end of the month because Sprint is in the middle of a promo whereby any subscriber who gets a friend to sign on the dotted line can walk away with a shiny $100 VISA debit card. As for the friends you refer, they’ll each get a $25 card as Sprint’s way of saying “thanks for signing a two-year contract and accepting a subsidized handset before the launch of the Pre, sucka.” Customers can earn up to 12 cards for referrals — $1,200, not bad for laying a little carrier evangelism on 12 of your buddies.

What do you think the backlash would be if they told all those SERO subs because they don’t offer it anymore they have to go, they already stopped it now all they can do is wait for them to upgrade. I’m in the same group that don’t see any difference between SERO and T Mobile’s unlimited plan that are only for a certain few. It’s not like even 25% of all the Sprint contracts are of that nature.

^Can’t decide on an identity, DonnieBitchboy?

You clearly want it both ways … Sprint to bend over and -continue- taking it up the ass from bungholes who refuse to accept that the rules apply to them … yet … You cheerlead for your savior-carrier every chance you get despite being hamstrung by leeches for customers. Do you also pull the wings off little birds and then scream at them to fly? :)

Business, just like Life, doesn’t work that way. There is no free lunch.

The TMo $50 unlimited voice plan is for -every- customer in good standing, including those who have been on data-only plans.

This is -not- a single-sided issue … and you know it. Stop the single-sided grandstanding potshots. They’re quite unbecoming.

^We clearly differ on the definition of “constructive”. When does the cure come for the abusive nature of those who originate these exchanges? When?

Also, with due respect, this is clearly not a site intended for minors. When one’s intelligence is chronically insulted by the same multi-logged-in idiots who remain unrestrained, there is no excuse for not taking direct action. When that side of this equation is publicly addressed, as you are addressing me, this overall concern can undoubtedly be put to rest.

The guy is intent on getting his message of righteous indignation out and will continue to call anyone disagreeing Mr. Louie. Now the professional troll here because there’s no moderation

^DonnieLou: You’re talking out of both sides of your sock-puppet mouth … again. But … for presenting the perfect example of what -causes- the resident problem … Thanks! :)

Michael, I got your email and actually moved on but every one of my post is followed by a snide remark and an insult so I ignored it but then every person that has said dissenting views from his is a sock puppet, apologist or me. They got wise to him at engadgetmobile so you don’t see his post there anymore.

^Ever consider the ‘why’ of this dynamic, VinnieLou? [Outside your incessent need to stir the pot] Naahh … I didn’t think so.

Engadget is what it is and, when/if I so choose, post there when I desire. No problem. :)

I’m going to have a hard time convincing others to give them a chance, might have to share the rebate.

^ What you consider to be ‘insults’ always follow your incessent trolling. Outside of your multi-logged-in muckraking, I simply post as any rational person does. Is the logic simply too difficult for you to follow?

@Michael Bettiol: What are you afraid of? Becoming publicly known as an enabler of the DonLouie, et al Sprint propaganda campaign? If not, why the universally caustic, selectively 1-sided editing? Was my opinion on the Blackberry 9630′s keyboard too offensive to your virgin eyes?

Think this is going away? Think again. ;)

After you attempted to break thru our security, you provided an excellent log file which has been prepared to be sent to the appropriate authorities at the close of business today.

Think this is going away? Think again. ;)

I’m pushing this to all my people, it will be a tough go converting them
