Our Black Friday 2015 hub is boiling over with great holiday deals that will save you tons of money on everything from electronics and appliances to clothing and more, but now it’s time to shift focus to a deal that won’t cost you a dime. If you’re a Verizon Wireless subscriber with an eligible plan, Verizon will give you 2GB of data for free right now as part of its “Thanksgetting” promotion.

Beginning immediately, Verizon customers with a qualifying wireless plan can get 1GB of free data on their current billing cycle and 1GB of data on their next cycle simply by visiting this page on the Verizon Wireless website and claiming the free data. Since you’ll probably use a bit more data than usual from all of the mobile Black Friday shopping you’ll be doing, an extra gigabyte of free data certainly can’t hurt.

To redeem your free data, head to Verizon’s Thanksgetting page and click “Get it now” in the middle of the page. Then log into your account and follow the instructions to claim your data. That’s it.

Here are the terms from Verizon’s site:

The 1GB Data offer (“Promotional Data”) can only be redeemed one time per account by VZW customers on a qualifying plan. Must have a valid VZW Mobile Telephone Number. Promotional Data will be added to your existing monthly data allowance, and applies to data usage after Promotional Data redemption date. Promotional Data will be shared by all lines on an account. Data usage applies for app downloads/use.

So what are you waiting for?
