After months of watching Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton take shots at one another from afar, we’re finally going to see what they have to say to one another face to face on Monday night at the first presidential debate. This promises to be one of the most widely watched debates in American history, and unless you want to miss out on all the conversations that your family, friends and colleagues are going to be having over the next few weeks, you’re going to want to tune in.
Thankfully, whether you have a cable subscription or not, there are plenty of ways to watch the 90-minute debate tonight at 9PM ET.

If you have an indoor antenna for your television and broadcast networks are your only option, worry not. ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and Univision will all be broadcasting the debate without commercial interruption. If you have cable, you can also watch the debate on CNN, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, MSNBC, CNBC, Fusion or C-SPAN. That’s twelve separate channels — pick your favorite.
If you aren’t near a television (or would simply prefer to watch on your computer), there are copious options online as well. The simplest is probably YouTube, where PBS, Telemundo and The Washington Post will all be streaming the debate. Facebook is also an option, as the social media giant has partnered with ABC News for live coverage, and Twitter is teaming up with Bloomberg TV, with pre- and post-debate coverage airing at debates.twitter.com.
Basically, if you have access to either a computer or a television tonight, you’ll be able to watch the debate. We’ve even embedded a stream from YouTube into this post so that you won’t have to go searching once it begins:
We’ll have posts in the future for the second and third presidential debates, as well as the vice presidential debate featuring Mike Pence and Tim Kaine.
