Almost as quickly as they appeared, the initial batch of Xbox One preorders were sold out. To make matters worse, a limited “Day One Edition” of the Xbox One was the first to go, but CNET reports that Best Buy has received “limited quantities” of the special console for a second round of preorders. Although there have been critical reactions to many of Microsoft’s policies regarding the Xbox One, the console has smashed previous preorder records for the Xbox 360, and will likely be in a tight race with the PlayStation 4 this holiday season, despite its higher price point. There is no telling how long Best Buy’s stock will last, so be sure to move quickly if you haven’t secured an Xbox One preorder yet.
