Tesla Model X CUV Spy Video

In addition to releasing new software updates to existing car models, Tesla is working on some brand new toys, Green Car Report reminds us. In fact, it looks like the new Model X CUV has once again been caught on video during a test drive near the company’s headquarters in California.

This isn’t the first time the unreleased CUV has been spotted in the wild, with a black version of the Model X having been photographed while testing in mid-February. Furthermore, a video from late January also showed off the Model X in testing.

Other details about the Model X’s launch aren’t available at this time, but Tesla has already confirmed the new car will be released in the third quarter of the year, with shipments set to start by October.

Earlier this week, Tesla made several announcements concerning its Model S, saying that upcoming software updates will bring a new “range assurance” feature to prevent users from driving out of charging range, and a self-driving autopilot mode.

The short 20-second video showing this recent Model X test drive follows below, with more images of the new car available on @ModelXNews, a Twitter handle that posted several Model X spy photos in the past weeks.
