Microsoft is prepared to lead off E3 once again this year with the very first press conference of the day, one which should be packed with brand new games for the Xbox One. Earlier in the year, the new head of the Xbox division, Phil Spencer, made it very clear that Microsoft would take this opportunity to focus on the games.
Microsoft took to the Xbox Wire last week in order to discuss over 45 entertainment apps which would be coming to the Xbox One, so it’s likely that the press conference will gloss over anything outside of actual game announcements, trailers and live demos. The two exclusives we’re most excited to see? Sunset Overdrive and Halo 5: Guardians. After a slow start to the generation, gamers are looking forward to seeing what the Xbox One is capable of — it’s Microsoft’s job to capitalize on that.
