Netflix’s

strategy for success is hardly a well-kept secret. In fact, the company, at every opportunity, will not hesitate to tell you their exact plans to foster subscriber growth in the months and years ahead. Not surprisingly, it all boils down to one singular phrase: Original Content.

Netflix makes no bones about the fact that it’s spending every spare penny it has on developing original content. As an illustrative example, consider this: Netflix in 2016 will have more original programming than any other content provider, including HBO and FX. In 2015, Netflix aired approximately 320 hours of original programming, a three-fold increase from 2014.

Looking ahead, the TV-minded folks over at Exstreamist recently compiled a list of all the new Netflix originals coming in 2016. While their list includes subsequent seasons of shows that have already aired, we’ll keep things simple and instead focus solely on entirely new shows debuting on the streaming service over the next 12 months.

So without further ado, everything brand new coming to Netflix in 2016. Note that programming without any specific release dates don’t have one quite yet.
