Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C handsets won’t debut in China for another three months, according to a new report. Chinese-language First Financial Daily on Friday pegged November 28th as the local release date for both of Apple’s new iPhones. The launch would come more than two months after the handsets’ initial release, if recent rumors pans out, and the wait is seemingly because the new models haven’t yet gained approval from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The report also notes that the Qualcomm radios in the upcoming iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will support China Mobile’s network. Apple’s next-generation iPhone 5S is expected to be unveiled on September 10th and will reportedly feature a new processor, an upgraded camera, a fingerprint scanner and a new gold color option. The iPhone 5C will likely be announced on the same day with more modest specs and a plastic case available in five colors. Both phones are expected to be released in the U.S. and other launch markets on September 20th.
