Apple on Monday released the third beta version of its iOS 6 software to developers. As the countdown to the launch of Apple’s next-generation iPhone and iOS operating system continues, iOS 6 beta 3 is now available to iOS developers as an OTA update, and Apple’s developer website should be updated with the download shortly. The only updates noted in Apple’s OTA software updating mechanism are “bug fixes and improvements.” Apple released iOS 6 beta 2 in late June and the first iOS 6 beta became available on June 11th. Apple is expected to release the final version of iOS 6 to consumers this fall around the same time the company launches its sixth-generation iPhone.
