Anyone who bought Grand Theft Auto V for the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 might be a little apprehensive about shelling out cash for the game again now that it’s available on both the Xbox One and Playstation 4. However, if there’s one thing that might convince you to buy the game twice, it’s the inclusion of a new first-person mode that will let you have even more fun causing mayhem in Los Santos than ever before.
A video of GTA V’s first-person mode posted by YouTuber Jerma985 shows exactly why the new perspective is so fantastic — it’s one thing to mow down civilians in your car when the camera shows it from a distance, but it’s quite another when you get to see them fly up on your windshield and tumble over the roof from a closeup view.
Other highlights from first-person mode include punching out random bystanders, kicking over signs and boxes, and leaping on the top of an 18-wheel truck on the highway and trying to see if you can survive going under an overpass while standing up (Spoiler: No).
The whole video is worth watching and might even convince you that you need to buy GTA V for a second time, or at least pick it up later next year off a used game rack when it’s at half price. Check it out below.
