A new report out of DDaily suggests that Samsung will hold an Unpacked event at the IFA trade show in Berlin in late August to unveil a sequel to its wildly successful Galaxy Note smartphone. Earlier rumors have suggested that the device would feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a quad-core Exynos processor, and it may have a 12-megapixel rear camera as well. The South Korean website claims that Samsung will host the event on August 30th at 7:00 p.m., which lines up nicely with previous reports. The Galaxy Note II is expected to be released in September.
