Fallout 4 Reveal Trailer

After putting a countdown timer on its site 24 hours ago, Bethesda finally uncloaked Fallout 4 this morning, the long-awaited sequel to its 2008 open-world RPG. The game will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC, skipping the last generation entirely. A release date has not yet been confirmed.

We know all of this because the game’s official website launched an hour early, before promptly being taken offline. Thankfully, plenty of gamers were on the lookout, as the first screenshots and images of the game’s box art were pulled off the site and posted on NeoGAF.

That’s all we know for now, but we expect to see plenty more during Bethesda’s first ever E3 press conference on June 14th. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to get our hands on the game as well.

“We know what this game means to everyone,” said Game Director, Todd Howard, in a press release we received on Wednesday. “The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”
