We learned recently that BlackBerry is planning to release its first-ever Android phone this fall and N4BB may have just found the device’s leaked specifications. Specifically, N4BB has posted a list of specs for a device that’s now codenamed “Venice” that will be a touchscreen-equipped slider device similar to the old BlackBerry Torch. This is significant because it seems the Android phone BlackBerry is working on will also have a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well.

As for the specs themselves, the new device will feature a 5.4-inch quad-HD display, an 18-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of RAM. Those are all very high-end specs that are on par with what’s now being offered by top Android flagship devices.

BlackBerry first showed off an early version of a new Torch-like slider phone earlier this year, although that device appeared to be running BlackBerry 10 and not Android. Even so, it’s entirely possible that BlackBerry will release two different versions of the device, similar to how HTC released both an Android and a Windows Phone version of its HTC One M8 last year.

N4BB’s sources claim that this new device will launch this coming November.
