We got an early glimpse of the next Assassin’s Creed courtesy of Kotaku earlier this week, and now Ubisoft has responded with an official teaser trailer of its own. It looks like the new generation game will be called Assassin’s Creed Unity, as the leak suggested, and will be set in a ridiculously good looking digital recreation of France. Ubisoft has been working on Unity for over three years, and although the team hadn’t planned on revealing footage this early in development, the leaked images apparently forced their hand. It might still be in alpha, but if this is truly in-game footage, we’re in store for one stunning Assassin’s Creed game on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC later this year. Check out the trailer below.
