Android fans who love the stock version of the platform are clamoring to learn more about the 2015 Nexus 5, an LG-manufactured device that will likely launch alongside Android M this fall. Phone Arena flags a new benchmark that recently popped up on Geekbench for mystery LG phone that it speculates is either the 2015 Nexus 5 or the upcoming LG G4 Pro. Either way, the specs for the device are promising.

The mystery LG device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Given that this device is running on Lollipop instead of Android M, this might indicate that it’s the G4 Pro and not the newest Nexus.

What is the G4 Pro, you ask? As Phone Arena describes it, it’s an ” even more high-end than the G4,” although the publication also notes that the G4 Pro has been rumored to feature a newer Snapdragon 820 processor.

For what it’s worth, this is the second benchmark we’ve seen this week that could potentially be for the new Nexus 5. An earlier benchmark that showed up on AnTuTu showed a device whose performance blew away every other flagship Android device on the market, including the mighty Galaxy S6. That said, there are reasons to doubt whether this benchmark was genuine, so we’ll have to wait a bit more before we can say for certain how powerful the LG 2015 Nexus 5 will be.
