Niantic officially unveiled daily bonuses for Pokemon Go on Wednesday, giving trainers an incentive to continue logging on even though the Halloween event is wrapping up. The feature was originally discovered last week in a data mine of a recent update, but the details of daily bonuses were still unclear.
Now the cat is out of the bag and Niantic has shared some specifics regarding the daily activities trainers will need to participate in to collect the bonuses and the necessary requirements to earn a bonus streak every week.

Visiting a PokéStop every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:
- 2,000 XP
- A greater number of additional items
According to Niantic, activities reset at 12AM local time, so if you catch a Pokemon at 11:59PM on Tuesday, the daily bonus for Wednesday will be available a minute later at 12AM on Wednesday. Keep this in mind while putting together weekly streaks, because a single missed day will force you to start over.
Although many players will be sad to see the spooky spawns of the Halloween event vanish, the addition of daily bonuses should help retain some of the players who otherwise would have uninstalled the app until the next event.
Niantic has not announced a release date for daily bonuses yet.
