Pokemon Go came from out of nowhere to become one of the most successful mobile games of all times. Within days of its release, tens of millions of people around the world were hooked and so far the hot new game is showing no signs of slowing down. Pokemon Go remains the top grossing app in Apple’s iOS App Store, and it’s also still in the top 5 in Apple’s free downloads category. But after all this time, people still seem to be having a lot of trouble with one particular aspect of the game: Pokemon Go gym battles.

In this post we’ll discuss what a gym battle is as well why people have been having so much trouble with gym battles, and we’ll also show you a video that details how you can win every single Pokemon gym battle with relative ease.

So what exactly is a gym battle in Pokemon Go? As you likely know all too well at this point, the goal of Pokemon Go is to catch as many Pokemon as you can. The game uses augmented reality (AR) to merge the digital game with the physical world around you, making you travel around your area in order to capture the cute little creatures placed all around you.

Some Pokemon are more difficult to capture than others, and your experience level helps determine how easy it is to catch Pokemon.

People don’t go it alone in the game. Instead, they’re placed on teams and when a team occupies a gym, its members’ Pokemon can train there. When you come across a gym occupied by another team, you can engage in a gym battle to gain experience points and to take over the gym for your team. Of course losing a gym battle will hurt your Pokemon, and you’ll need to use up your supplies in order to heal it.

So how can you make sure you win as many gym battles as possible? It turns out that there’s a relatively easy way to win every battle you try. The method involves identifying a pattern in the game and using it to your advantage.

It’s important to note that when you battle a Pokemon at a gym, that Pokemon belongs to another player but he or she isn’t actually controlling the Pokemon during the battle. Instead, the Pokemon is controlled by a computer that follows certain patterns with its attacks. Some Pokemon are more difficult to defeat than others, but they all follow the same pattern while they fight. Once you’ve identified it and practiced a little, you’ll be able to win every single battle you engage in.

In a nutshell, there’s a tell that each Pokemon character has before it attacks. Once you spot the tell, it broadcasts a coming attack and if you dodge at the proper moment, you’ll avoid the attack while leaving your enemy vulnerable to your retaliation. It takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of it but once you do, believe us when we tell you that it’ll be a complete game-changer for you.
