Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this is not a drill. Amazon has had Apple AirPods listed for sale numerous times before, but they were always sold at a premium. For people who wanted them in hand in a matter of days instead of four to six weeks, Amazon was a fine option. But not everyone wants to pay a premium even though Apple’s shipping quotes are still crazy. Well, it’s time to have your cake and eat it too. For the first time ever, Amazon has AirPods available for purchase at their list price of $160. The AirPods page lists them as being in stock on August 24th with free Prime shipping, which means Prime members who order them right now will have them delivered by the end of next week. This definitely isn’t going to last, so hurry up and grab a pair while you still can.

Here are some key details from the product description:

  • Audio automatically plays as soon as you put them in your ears and pauses when you take them out.
  • To adjust the volume, Change the song, make a call, or even get directions, just double-tap to activate Siri.
  • Because the ultralow-power W1 chip manages battery life so well, airpods deliver an industry-leading 5 hours of listening time on One charge.
  • They’re made to keep up with you, thanks to a charging case that holds multiple additional charges for more than 24 hours of listening time.
  • Need a quick charge? just 15 minutes in the case gives you 3 hours of listening time.
