Nintendo set release dates for new Switch games, and you can already preorder 5 of them

Nintendo held a big event called Nintendo Direct on Wednesday evening US time, which was actually early Thursday morning in Japan. During the event, the company made a ton of announcements regarding the hot new Nintendo Switch, which is still impossible to buy anywhere other than Amazon. Included among the announcements were release dates for a number of new Switch games, and general release timing for a bunch more.

While some of the new titles are still a bit far off in the distance, five of them are already available for preorder on Amazon. And guess what: If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber (free 30-day trial here) you’ll save 20% on every single one of these new Switch games by preordering them now.

Splatoon 2

is probably one of the most hotly anticipated Switch games of the year, and it’ll be released on July 21.

Another big Switch launch this year is the head-to-head combat game ARMS, and it’s set to debut in June.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Next up is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which we already knew was going to be released later this month on April 28.

Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition

There as soooooo many Minecraft fans waiting for Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, and now we know it’ll be released on May 11.

Last but not least is Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, which will be released on May 26.
